I grew up a well-educated, Catholic school kid on a small tropical island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.  Everyone thinks it's  paradise there, but I was bored - relentlessly chasing something darker, stranger...louder.

So the day I turned  18, I got my first tattoo and headed straight for California … and that's when life really began! San Francisco was insane: art school, street fashion, underground gigs, smoky goth clubs- the bustle, the beauty, the chaos!!! The city’s seedy underbelly was a melting pot of culture and creativity…and it was there that I found my people.

30 years on, and living in the UK, the arts and counter culture chaos have been drip-feeding my soul, and my career in fashion, for more decades than I’d like to admit. And after years of building collections and leading design teams for some of the biggest names in alternative fashion, it was time to step away, recapture the spirit of the scene, and do it on my own terms!
